Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Sportfolio is committed to making the platform usable for everyone, regardless of ability. We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA standards and audit quarterly with a third-party accessibility firm.

Standards

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across the marketing site, athlete and brand dashboards, mobile web, and iOS/Android apps. We also follow Section 508, EN 301 549, and ADA Title III guidance where applicable.

Built-in accessibility features

  • Keyboard navigation for every interactive element
  • Visible focus indicators on all controls
  • Color contrast meeting or exceeding WCAG AA
  • Semantic HTML, ARIA labels on icon-only buttons, proper heading hierarchy
  • Reduced-motion support honoring prefers-reduced-motion
  • Captions on every native Sportfolio video
  • Screen-reader friendly forms and announcements for state changes

Known limitations

We're not perfect. Known limitations as of this writing:

  • Some embedded third-party iframes (Stripe Checkout) inherit Stripe's accessibility, which we cannot directly control
  • User-generated content (athlete videos, brand creative) may lack captions or alt text — we surface a "request captions" affordance
