Summary

By using Sportfolio you agree to follow these rules: don't impersonate anyone, don't break the law, don't break your school or league's NIL policy, and don't try to game the platform. We can suspend accounts that do. Most everything else is your choice — your content, your deals, your money.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 to use Sportfolio. Athletes under 18 require a parent or guardian co-sign on every deal. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens on your account.

Your content

You own everything you upload. By posting on Sportfolio you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content as needed to operate the service. We never use your content in our own marketing without explicit permission.

Payments & fees

Athletes pay no platform fee on personal earnings. Brands pay the fee disclosed at the time of the deal (0–8% depending on plan). Schools and agencies pay per their subscription. Payouts are processed by Stripe; you accept Stripe's terms when you onboard.

Deals & compliance

Every deal must comply with the athlete's state NIL law, the school's NIL policy, FTC disclosure rules, and our acceptable-use policy. Sportfolio screens deals automatically but you remain ultimately responsible for compliance. Restricted categories (alcohol, gambling, vape, cannabis, adult content, performance-enhancing supplements) are blocked at the brief level.

Prohibited uses

You may not: impersonate any person, scrape the service, attempt to manipulate the Sportfolio Score™, use the service for any unlawful purpose, harass other users, or interfere with platform operations. We use technical, legal, and human means to detect and respond to violations.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms with appropriate notice; severe violations (fraud, impersonation, harassment) may be terminated immediately. Pending payouts will still be settled.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy of athlete data, or campaign outcomes. We are not a substitute for legal, tax, or financial advice.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sportfolio is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Aggregate liability is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, except where prohibited.
